AFRICARE completes rehabilitation of 20 more wells

AFRICARE has rehabilitated 20 more wells in villages in the districts of Pujehun and Bo, UNICEF said in its situation report for 14-21 November. UNICEF said that this action brought the completed wells to 80 out of 100 planned for the two areas. This is part of a deal UNICEF signed with the NGO to rehabilitate and build wells and pit latrines. In the eastern city of Bo, 200 traditional well owners have benefited from a two-day training session on a continuous chlorination technique. Similar training has been given to well owners in two other areas, Mile 91 and Yonibana, UNICEF said.
