Peacekeepers restore calm after shooting

    NAIROBI
    Tension was reported in Freetown as one Sierra Leone Army (SLA) soldier was shot dead while investigating a shooting incident, the UN reported on Monday. UN peacekeepers brought the situation under control and two Sierra Leone Army recruits and a civilian technician were arrested following the incident, which occurred on Sunday. An investigation is underway, the UN added.
