US war crimes expert visits Kabbah

President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah held discussions on Wednesday with a visiting US special counsel on issues relating to war crimes in Sierra Leone, the Sierra Leone News Agency (SLENA) reported on Wednesday. The meeting with Pierre-Richard Prosper focused mainly on the format of any possible trial for crimes committed against humanity during the country's civil war, SLENA reported Kabbah as saying. He added that experiences of other countries in matters relating to war crimes would be looked at to see how they can be applied in the Sierra Leone context.
