Zambia's economic reforms have worsened unemployment in the country, Sustainable Youth Livelihoods in Zambia project coordinator Francis Chinguta said. 'The Post' newspaper quoted him as saying on Thursday that the reforms had reduced the capacity of the economy to absorb new entrants, especially early school leavers. According to the report, the informal sector currently employs 78 percent of the country's total labour force of 4.2 million.
